Uganda Technical College Kyema is among the five science technical colleges in Uganda which only admits students who offered science subjects in secondary level. This college is mainly sponsored by government of Uganda and most of the students in these five colleges are on government sponsorship. In UTC-Kyema they admit both on Diploma and certificate level. To be admitted on Diploma you have to be with a UACE certificate with sufficient points and then to be admitted on Certificate you have to be with a UCE Certificate with sufficient points or you can use craft alternative where you sit only for primary seven and then go for Craft A and Craft B.
