Uganda Technical College kyema is located in Masindi district which is near hoima district in the west,bunyoro region.Most of the people found in Masindi district are banyoro and they speak Runyoro language plus other tribes like Bacholi,Baganda,Bamadi,Baluru and more.The college is 5 KM from Masindi town along Masindi -Kigumba road.When heading to UTC-Kyema from masindi town you by pass Kabalega secondary school and Wazalendo SACCO in the UPDF barracks.The college is more secure since it is near the UPDF barracks.

From Kampala
When you are coming from Kampala you will board your bus from the bus park(if you are not on time) or taxi from taxi park(if you are on time use a taxi to reach early) and you will pass either in wandegeya or Kasubi-kawala and then head up to Bwaise via Bombo road from Bwaise to kawempe ,from kawempe to Bombo,From Bombo to Luweero,from Luweero to Nakasongola,from Nakasongola to Kafu River then when you reach Kafu branch off on your left and leave Gulu high way then continue up to Masindi town.From Masindi town get a boda boda which always cost about 2000-2500 shillings depending on the lagguage you have and then head up to the college for a distance which is 5KM from Masindi town along Masindi-Kigumba road.
From Hoima
When coming from Hoima board your taxi from Hoima which will bring you up to Masindi town and then from there get a boda boda which will take you up to the college.
From Gulu
When you are coming from Gulu you will board your taxi from Gulu town and head up to Kigumba because some taxis some go direct to Kampala and they dont pass in Masindi and you will be left in Kigumba so to avoid inconveniences its better to get a taxi from Gulu which goes direct to Masindi Town.
